Born in Sydney, Australia Christine studied sound engineering, and worked in the Sydney music scene during the 1980’s. Although hampered by extreme myopia via a mutated gene from birth, she nevertheless began a steady migration from aural to visual landscapes, settling on the camera at the close of the millennium and formalizing my choice of instrument with studies at The Australian Centre for Photography in Sydney. 

 

Christine's visual acuity came late, a gift of luck, surgery and science and is something she has never taken for granted.  With a sense of perpetual childlike wonder, her visual re connections to even the most commonplace things, has been nothing short of extraordinary.

 

A serendipitous meeting in 2010 led to an Art Nude photographic competition, a second prize and judge’s special mention, and a growing passion for the art nude form.

 

The style is sensual & compelling, whether the forms are art nude, landscape or fetish, the subject compels and engages the viewer in a private journey.

 

Recent work has explored several fetish themes in more detail, including Japanese rope bondage (shibari) with both male and female models, collaborative works with several renowned rope masters (riggers) from the Sydney Rope Dojo in Sydney’s Leichhardt. Christine is both a contributor and collaborator on the Kink Journals and is tasked with bringing together the work of fantastic artists from around the globe for this amazing project.
